The Crowcon T4 Portable gas detector is industry standard and strongly recommended that T4 gas monitors are calibrated every six months, and we provide a complimentary reminder service for all purchases from our store. We also offer a discount rental facility if you need a portable gas monitor while we are calibrating your unit.
We provide a free delivery service anywhere in Ireland for all our gas monitors and always supply a charger for our T4 gas monitors.
Calibration
Portable Gas Detectors provides Sales Service and Calibration of Crowcon portable units. We have trained engineers in our Workshop who offer a great turnaround on units dropped to our premises in Dublin 12. We can offer 48Hr turnaround once we receive the units and these can be collected or returned to you by DPD.
All units are calibrated using certified gases. We enter the information of the unit into our database and call the relevant contact a month before the next calibration is due. A new certificate will be sent out by email and a sticker placed on the unit to confirm calibration date and due date. Most commonly we advise 6-month calibrations, but we can carry out calibrations anytime during the 6 months.
